Foreign firms join clamor for offices in Costa Rica

Monday, June 28, 2010

Costa Rica’s real-estate businesses are smiling again, largely because companies – multinationals, in particular – are snapping up space for offices.

Occupation in many of the major business centers is running higher than 90 percent, putting pressure on builders to complete projects.
Companies in the services sector are hogging much of the space.

Companies such as HP, Assa Seguros and BAC San José have been bringing in the removal vans in recent months.
