Foreign investment in Colombia surged to $13.2 billion

Colombia received $13.2 billion of foreign direct investment last year, a 92 percent increase on 2010, Sergio Díaz-Granados, the trade and industry minister reported.

Díaz-Granados also pointed out that Colombia's overseas investment was considerable.

He pointed out that the country invested $8.3 billion overseas, $1.7 billion more than in 2010.
