Foreign investment in Costa Rica surges by 52 percent

Thursday, July 28, 2011

\ Foreign direct investment in Costa Rica grew by 52 percent to $1.11 billion in the first half of the year.\ \ The improvement is significant given that the last three years have been difficult times for foreign investment because of the international financial crisis.\ \ This year’s increase is linked to the arrival of new investments, and increases in existing ones, in call centers, service centers and computing.\ \ \ \ Original source (in Spanish): La República\ \ \ \ \
