Foreign investment to Central America hits record high

Central America received $9.7 billion in foreign direct investment, a record amount according to analysts.
Panama and Costa Rica received 60 percent of the total, and along with Nicaragua, were the most dynamic countries in promoting foreign investment.
Foreign investment to Panama grew 10 percent, Costa Rica received 5 percent more, while Nicaragua received a little more than 5 percent compared to a year earlier.
