Foreign investment to Colombia up 7 percent

Colombia is off to a good start in foreign direct investment, according to the country's central bank.

In January, foreign direct investment reached $1.4 billion, almost 7 percent more than in January 2013.

Total foreign investment to Colombia last year reached $16.8 billion.
