Foreign investment to Nicaragua grows 30 percent

Foreign direct investment to Nicaragua grew 30 percent during the first quarter of the year, compared to the same period last year.

The figure represents investments for little more than $440 million.

The country's investment promotion agency, ProNicaragua, said if the current rate of investment is maintained, the country could end the year with $1.5 billion in foreign investment.
