Foreign investment to Nicaragua up 9 percent

Direct foreign investment to Nicaragua grew 9 percent in the first half of the year, compared to the same period last year.

The figure represents investments worth $690 million, said Álvaro Baltodano, presidential delegate for investment.

The sectors which saw most investment were energy, telecommunications, free trade zones and industry.
