Foreign investment to Panama grows 21 percent

Foreign investment to Panama grew 21 percent in the first half of the year, compared with the same period last year, the country's National Comptroller's Office.

If the figures continue with their current tendency, authorities expect foreign investment to the country to surpass $5 billion by the end of the year.

Last year, foreign investment to Panama reached $4.6 billion.
