Free trade pact with South Korea opens big opportunities

The talks on a free trade agreement between Central America and South Korea will reach a conclusion today. But today’s signing is only the beginning of what could be a complicated process.
In terms of population, the Asian nation and Central America are roughly equal, but Korea is very much more industrialized. Central America so far has been sending fruit and coffee to Korea, while sophisticated electronic equipment and cars are moving in the other direction.
