Wednesday, June 9, 2010

Alba Petróleos is going full speed ahead in El Salvador. Alba, a joint venture of the Venezuelan government and El Salvador’s ruling party, the FMLN, has growing substantially.

Fuel sales are just one of the new business horizons viewed by Alba.

The company has been exporting Salvadoran beans and fertilizers while importing medicine from Venezuela. In 2007, Alba launched operations with 75,000 gallons of diesel. Last year, it earned $72 million from diesel.
