Fruit of the Loom Honduras wins ACE award

The Honduran subsidiary of garment manufacturing firm Fruit of the Loom was one of three winners of the Award for Corporate Excellence, presented by U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry.

The award highlights the company's participation in environmental projects, such as giving eco-friendly stoves to rural families and reducing its carbon emissions.

The company also set a model for Central America with its unprecedented agreement with its workers, promoting freedom of association for the training of workers in its plants.
