Tuesday, December 28, 2010
Panama’s much vaunted , and delayed, new Metro bus system got off to a slow start and once again passengers were told to have patience.
Hundreds of passengers waited in the early morning for the new buses that failed to show. Nor did they know that they had to have $1.25 in hand when they boarded buses. At many stops there was confusion.
Authorities said that the system will be fully operational by August of next year.
