Fund maintains growth forecast for Panama

The International Monetary Fund maintained its Panama gross domestic product forecast for this year.

The Fund expects the Panamanian economy to grow 9 percent this year, despite lowering predictions for the global economy in general.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Economy and Finance expects the country to grow 8 percent.
