Funes remains popular as he approaches another year

The people of El Salvador approved the work of their president, Mauricio Funes, during his third year in office, although they remain concerned about the high crime rate and the problems of the economy.

Funes will be three years into his five-year term on June 1. He scored 6.5 out of 10 in a public opinion poll carried out by the Central American University.

HIs score has improved over the last year, although it is still lower than qhen he was in the first year of his term.
