G4G Resources and Iron Sands Americas awarded extension to explore in Guatemala

Canada’s G4G Resources announced that Guatemala’s Ministry of Energy and Mining has granted an extension of its reconnaissance licence covering an area along the nation’s entire west coast.

The area has been identified as having potential for an iron sands resource by G4G and its joint venture partner, Iron Sands Americas.

G4G said that Guatemala’s iron sands iron sands “are ideally positioned for the rapidly growing and voracious Asian iron and steel markets.”
