Garment industry workers earn $440 a month in Honduras, says top boss

Workers in the garment industry in Honduras earn the best wages in the country, about $440 a month, said the employers’ leader, Daniel Facussé.
Facussé was responding to worker demands for a 15 percent increase in their wages.
The minimum wage in Honduras is $290 a month in towns and $215 a month in the countryside.
