Gas Natural Fenosa visits Nicaragua in order to settle accounts with government

Spain’s Gas Natural Fenosa, which recently sold assets in Nicaragua, has returned to settle accounts with the government.

The company is not prepared to accept a $50 million loss allegedlky caused by distribution problems and fraud.

The company’s chief executive, Rafael Villaseca, met yesterday with the Nicaraguan president, Daniel Ortega, and the energy minister, Emilio Rappaccioli.
