A plan unveiled last month in Mexico that focuses on the need to develop the economies of Guatemala, Honduras and El Salvador sees natural gas as a key driver of development.
The central part of the plan is a 370-mile gas pipeline that would run south from Coatzacoalcos, also known as Pajaritos, on Mexico’s Gulf Coast, to Salina Cruz on the Pacific Coast, Natural Gas Intelligence reports.
