Tuesday, July 27, 2010

The Georgia Institute of Technology is planning a September 7 launch of a new logistics research center in Panama that aims to help the country become a trade hub for the Americas.
The center is sanctioned by Panama's government and will be funded through a five-year grant from its science and technology ministry.
The center will be the latest in a network of Georgia Tech logistics facilities around the world. The university has had a similar center in Singapore for 13 years and opened one in Costa Rica last year.
