Geothermal power plants to be built in Costa Rican natural parks, according to proposal by legislators. Private concessions

Legislators in Costa Rica have proposed to install geothermal power plants among the volcanoes of Costa Rica that are very much admired by tourists.

The proposal talks about boosting the state power company, ICE, no such measures are included. In fact, the plan advocates 25-year private concessions.
