Germany's Zollner to open plant in Costa Rica

German company Zollner said it will open its first Latin American plant in Costa Rica next year.

Zollner specializes in electronic manufacturing and energy services, and will invest some $10 million in its Costa Rican plant.

"There were other options for our entry into Latin America, but we chose Costa Rica because of its stability, education system, manufacturing resources and strategic location," said the company's general director, Markus Aschenbrenner.
