Germany seeks more trade with El Salvador

Germany is seeking to boost bilateral trade with El Salvador through the advantages provided by the recent association agreement between Central America and Europe.

The German-Salvadoran trade and industry chamber announced a series of activities designed to increase trade, such as export workshops and participation in specialized fairs.

Germany is interested in infrastructure, renewable energy and regional integration in El Salvador, said Robert Jaspersen, director of the German-Salvadoran chamber.
