Germany to include Guatemala in travel brochures

German tourism agencies will include Guatemala in their catalogues starting next year.

Guatemala had been absent for three years from German catalogues due to warnings against travelling to the Central American nation.

But over the last two years, the country has reported improvements in its tourism safety levels.
