Gildan offers Honduras as alternative to Asia

Canada's Gildan Activewear is focusing on developing its Honduras manufacturing plants to become a provider for large brands.
The company wants to attract its clients to its plants in Central America, as it has expressed concern over labor conditions in Asia, where last week a building collapsed during a fire killing some 400 people in Bangladesh.
Gildan provides T-shirts to Nike, Reebok and Adidas, and is looking to expand its apparel products and clients even further after it purchased Anvil.
