Green buildings increase presence in Guatemala

Guatemala has 50 companies who are members of the Guatemala Green Building Council, GGBC, an organization that offers services for the construction of environmentally-friendly projects.

There are currently nine projects in the country with a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design, LEED, certification.

Those projects range from office buildings to large malls, said GGBC president José Pablo Labbe.
