Growth in hotels is booming in Costa Rica

Construction of hotels in Costa Rica grew almost threefold through October this year compared with the same period of 2010.

In the first 10 months of the year 89,000 square meters of construction were approved, up from 30,000 a year earlier.

According to the national tourism chamber, the increase in the number of rooms reflects “Costa Rica is a growth destination in that all the leading brands are backing”.
