Costa Rica's Pacific Coast province of Guanacaste is increasing the pace of its development of manufacturing and infrastructure.
The extension of the Daniel Oduber airport, including a new cargo terminal, and the inauguration of the Liberia-Cañas highway have spurred interest in more investment.
An example is the new Coca-Cola factory, now under construction in Liberia at a cost of some $50 million.
