The Guatemala Tourist Board has announced plans to build a new conference center in Guatemala City, expected to be finished by 2014.
The government will invest between $60 and $80 million in the new centre, which will occupy a space of 30,000-35,000 square meters.
This new project aims to position Guatemala as a growing business tourism destination and attract more international conferences.
