Alvaro Colom, the president of Guatemala, arrives in the Dominican Republic today to meet with his Dominican counterpart, Leonel Fernández.
The Guatemalan leader’s visit takes place while most of the Central American countries, headed by Costa Rica, have complained against the Dominican Republic before the World Trade Organization.
