Guatemala-based DAR TV offers movies from Spain throughout Americas

DAR TV, the first channel of cinema from Spain to be broadcast in the Americas, was launched in Guatemala by its creator, Manuel Gómez, who supports the arts from Spain throughout the region.

The channel is based in Guatemala City, where its advertising staff will operate. 

At least two major cable operators are in talks with DAR in order to use its programming.
