Guatemala catches pancake fever with IHOP franchise

The US franchise International House of Pancake (IHOP) opened its second restaurant in Guatemala.

Hopes are high for a repetition of the success of the chain’s first restaurant in Guatemala, which handled 24,000 customers in its first fortnight of operations in March.

The new restaurant will be the biggest of the 1,500 that the franchise operates in the US, Mexico, Canada and Guatemala.
