Guatemala doubles food exports to Europe

Guatemala doubled its food exports to Europe this year, according to the country's exporters' association, Agexport.

The products with highest demand in Europe are palm oil, almond oil and soup products, said Alfredo Mancía, president of Agexport's food and drink committee.

Exports of those products reached $70.9 million this year, twice as much as last year, said Mancía.
