The government of Guatemala established a working group to promote the Zero Hunger program, whose head will be the country's vice president, Roxana Baldetti.
The implementation of the program will start this month in the municipality of San Juan Atitlan, which has the world's highest child malnutrition rate.
The meeting on Monday dealt with the integration of institutional efforts in the fight against hunger, as recommended by the Office of Human Rights.
