Guatemala goes big on call centers

By 2020, call centers in Guatemala should have a joint workforce of some 50,000, said Economy minister Rubén Morales.

Morales was speaking at the opening of a third phase of growth by the Expert Gobal Solutions call center company. He said the average wage in the call centers was at least 65 percent more than the minimum wage.
