Guatemala moves forward in green energy

The second phase of Guatemala's Renace hydroelectric plant will begin operations this month.

Renace 2 required an investment of some $270 million and has a 114 Megawatt capacity.

The project is an initiative of Coporación Multi Inversiones, who is now the largest investor in Guatemala's renewable energy sector.
