Guatemala reaches trade accord with EFTA

Guatemala has successfully completed free trade agreement talks with the European Free Trade Association, which comprises Switzerland, Norway, Liechtenstein and Iceland.

EFTA already has free trade accords with Costa Rica and Panama, and is in talks with Honduras.

The official presentation of Guatemala's incorporation into the EFTA-Central America free trade agreement will be made in November this year in Geneva, Switzerland.
