Guatemala registers lowest inflation since 2009

Guatemala registered its lowest levels of inflation last year, with 2.9 percent, since the economic crisis of 2009, the country's statistics agency said.
The figure is slightly lower than the government's forecast for the year of 3 to 5 percent.
The bank added however, that during the last quarter of 2014 the international price of fuel dropped, affecting domestic fuel prices.
