Guatemala's Atzam 4 well shows strong potential

Range Resources on Tuesday announced that the Atzam 4 well in Guatemala had demonstrated a "strong initial production performance".

The well has a current probable reserve estimate of 2.3 million barrels of oil, which Range expects to be upgraded.

The company also reminded investors investors that there remained significant upside potential in an untested section of the well.
