Guatemala’s Banco Industrial opens soon in El Salvador

Though a precise date has yet to be fixed, Guatemala’s Banco Industrial is to open next month in El Salvador.

 

The first Banco Industrial office in El Salvador was have been opened in May, preparations on information systems took longer than expected.

 

Banco Industrial de El Salvador will have initial capital of $20 million. BI Capital, the bank’s parent company, in 2008 bought Banpaís of Honduras as part of a regional expansion plan.
