Guatemala’s Café Barista aims to grow in El Salvador, Costa Rica and Panama

Café Barista, the Guatemalan chain of coffee shops, has its eyes on Costa Rica for next year.

Barista is launching an expansion plan following a meeting with its president, Walter de la Cruz, and Juan José Gutiérrez, joint president of the highly successful Pollo Campero chicken franchise.

El Salvador will be the first country to open Barista’s expansion project. Costa Rica and Panama will follow shortly.
