The latest updates from the Brazilian Pepper Trade Board shows that the Guatemala cardamom crop is estimated to reach nearly 20,000 tonnes.
A few producers already started to harvest the new crop of cardamom, which is expected to be in full swing by September-October.
Normally the Guatemalan harvest runs from September to May. The quality is good and estimates are similar to last year.
