Friday, August 9, 2013
Guatemala's exports totaled $5.2 billion in the first six months of the year, according to the Bank of Guatemala.
The figure represents a growth rate of only 1.6 percent compared to the same month last year.
"It's a sluggish growth rate that puts us behind other countries in the region," said foreign trade consultant Enrique Lacs Palomo.
