Guatemala's foreign trade weakens in 2013

Guatemala registered a weaker international trade last year, falling behind government projections.
Exports grew 1.8 percent last year, well below official forecasts of 6 to 11 percent.
The drop was due mainly to a fall in prices and less demand for Guatemala's traditional products, such as coffee, sugar and garments.
