Banks in Guatemala have eased credit restrictions and buyers are returning to the real-estate market.
As a result, Grupo Spectrum will invest $100 million in five new housing projects for middle-class and upper-class buyers.
Spectrum is also planning to build in other countries. It already has a residential condo project in Managua and a complex of 50 apartments on the beach at San Juan del Sur, also in Nicaragua.
