Guatemala’s Hiper Paiz supermarkets to get makeover this week from Walmart

Five years after the acquisition by Walmart of Guatemala’s La Fragua supermarket chain, its hypermarkets are to have a new logo and image generated by the US company.

The Hiper Paiz supermarkets will be transformed on Friday into Walmart stores.

The change will amount to a complete makeover, including the uniforms of the staff.
