Guatemala’s real-estate developers no longer sell homes but lifestyles

Competition among developers of housing projects has changed radically in Guatemala.
Nowadays they sell a lifestyle, including social clubs, gyms, swimming pools, and spas.
One leading developer, Spectrum is offering its Cumbres de la Arboleda development at prices of between $130,000 and $159,000 as part of a social club concepts. Other companies offer a country-club lifestyle.
