Guatemala’s top firms are ready and willing to invest

Guatemala’s leading companies are optimistic and keen to invest, according to the country’s banking regulator.

In a telephone survey with 25 senior company executives and trade associations, some 53 percent of those interviewed expected new investments to be forthcoming this year.

What appears to be missing, however, is more foreign investment.
