Tourism to Guatemala grew 2.5 percent last year, according to the country's tourism institute, Inguat.
The figure represents 2.12 million visitors throughout the year.
The number is also higher than the Inguat's initial goal if 2 million, which the institute attributes to marketing campaign efforts.
