Guatemala seeks more North American tourists

A Guatemalan tourism business delegation travelled to the United States in order to attract more visitors from the U.S. and Canada.

The business leaders will meet on Thursday and Friday with buyers from Chicago, New York and Toronto, the Guatemalan tourism institute, Inguat, said.

Last year, Guatemala received more than 446,800 tourists from the United States.
