Guatemala seeks more textile trade with Mexico
Thursday, March 27, 2014

Guatemala aims to reactivate its textile trade with Mexico after a recent free trade accord was signed between both countries.
Guatemala currently exports 2.7 percent of its total textile production, generating some $41 million.
But business leaders in the sector are concerned that companies may migrate from Guatemala due to a delay in the approval of a new investment and employment law.
